Wild, OG Twizzlers suck. Bad flavor, bad texture, like eating a really old rubber hose. Pull’n’Peel are way better.
Was gonna say, do they still make those? Pull and peel was the shit. OG twizzlers are just trash you got on Halloween and you’d give to your parents or eat it last when you were desperate.

Eh I remember them being really…I dunno, starchy? They were fine if you peeled and ate it right after opening it but the texture got weird the more it was exposed to air.
I definitely remember that, they would basically dry out the longer they were open until they got hard.
Yeah exactly! If you played with it like the ad suggests, they were nasty noodle dough with some sugar.
And like noodle dough, they were floured/starched to prevent them from congealing into a stick.
Given the option for candy noodles, I’d pick a nerds rope any day
