I’m going to sleep soon, so do you guys or no? I don’t think I do.
I’m apparently a bit mean in my sleep. I’ve gotten very protective over my sleep in the last few years as consistent sleep has always been something I’ve struggled with, and so when my partner accidentally wakes me up I apparently grumble and act very dramatic about it.
I’ll often ask in the morning, “Was I mean at all last night?” I feel bad about it but I have no idea that it’s happening.
I used to, my wife’s snoring made it hard to get a word in edge wise, so I stopped.
Apparently I said “I’m gunna kill myself” in my sleep last week and it freaked my girlfriend out
I say that all the time. Still alive.
Full ass conversations with people
I’ll see your “Full-ass conversations” and raise you “Full-ass technical convos” with no knowledge of talking on the phone the next day… which made for a weird follow-up.
I literally shout in my sleep regularly. And laugh a lot too. My partners and friends have had some interesting times from this.
I knew someone who talked in their sleep. I spent the night at their house in middle school, and over the night he would randomly sit up a little and say things as if in reaction to something he was doing like “really dude?” or “seriously? I had that!” I straight up asked him what he was doing, and he said he was playing Modern Warfare, duh, then laid back down and passed back out.
It was weird as fuck tbh.
Yeah I can imagine that creeping you out back then xd
I’ll let you know if you talk in your sleep once you wake up. Hiding in your home for now. See you soon.
No, but I snore. Snoring may be annoying, but at least it doesn’t accidentally reveal anything from my subconscious.
It might you never know
I have done in the past but it’s not a common thing. It really something I did when I was a kid. In the last 10 years I’ve actually done a bit of sleepwalking. It only really happens when I’m drunk but it’s always been quite fun as I usually just hear the stories in the morning. I’m not just wandering around aimlessly, there’s usually some kind of logic going on. You know when you’re in a dream and you have some kind of weird backstory to what you’re doing but you don’t know how you know it, you just know. I’m kind of walking around slightly conscious of where I am but with some weird backstory. Most of the time I just think it’s daytime and I’m doing something, like going to work.
The question is: can someone talk to you while you’re sleeping and alter the course of events in your dream?
I’m told that I do.
Not anymore. When I was younger I would talk in my sleep a lot, even sleepwalked, but it slowly faded with age. Now I’m in my 50s and I can’t remember the last time someone told me I talked in my sleep.
Only when I start screaming or crying from nightmares…
I do, but my partner does a lot and when they do they do so humorously. I’ve thought about starting a Tumblr just to record our conversations.
Do it!
