Over the weekend, Epstein survivors demanded that additional documents be released, accusing the Trump administration of concealing more than 3 million files

A Republican senator has changed her mind about the Epstein files after reviewing unredacted documents associated with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Wyoming Sen. Cynthia Lummis recently reviewed a handful of documents from the Epstein files without redactions, saying in an interview afterward that she now understands “what the big deal is."

Lummis, 71, told Capitol Hill reporter Pablo Manriquez on Monday, Feb. 9, that while she previously had said, “I don’t care” about Congress’ efforts to force the release of Epstein evidence, she now believes the issue was “worth investigating.”

I like the part where she says “Now that my eyes have been opened to how severely we’ve all been deceived I am starting a campaign with my fellow GOP senators to see this through and prosecute every last person involved in these barbaric and evil crimes.”

Wait no… I’m being told she said none of that.

Her actual final words on the subject were "And the members of Congress that have been pushing this were not wrong, so that’s really my only reaction."

I hate these people with my whole being.

More like she had to admit a thing she was conveniently for her career ignoring. She is a nihlist, believing in nothing. There was no conscience at work here, no appeal to justice. Just a cold calculation of positions.

But in this case the sex is between one consenting adult and an underage girl, so they are fine with that.

Ironically if it was just the one adult by himself that would be a no no.

Because as long as they haven’t seen the files they can make themselves believe that maybe the whole Epstein affair is speculation and grossly exaggerated and that they can’t possibly be that bad. When they finally see the truth they can no longer make those mental gymnastics. It also helps that they also likely realize that the truth will get out sooner or later and don’t want to be among the ones who protected those monsters.

It’s like the difference between someone who enjoys R18 content, and someone who enjoys R-18G content.

A victim subjected to R-18 activities will no doubt be subjected to what you stated. A victim subjected to R-18G activities will probably need their body to be hidden somewhere when the session is over.

The GOPper in question was likely most displeased when she misplaced the contents of her breakfast upon seeing several pictures of R-18G activities.

That’s because Impeachment tis only half of the process, and occurs in the House. The Senate chose not to remove him from office… This article is about a Senator changing their position.

And would of course require yet another impeachment to remove him.

The church didn’t have complete informational awareness, computers in every hand that can be compromised, giving location, every word spoken, every interaction recorded and sifted by AI. Bots, drones, ai kill systems, it gets dark from here on out, that is why so many governments are reaching for absolute power right now, with the tech they can crush resistance if they get into a position to put it all into use.

It’s almost like the only reason they vote like pieces of shit is because their party. They hold no values of their own while they’re in office, and don’t vote based on what their constituents want. It’s solely what the party tells them to do.

Okay, in more polite terms: it’s fine to be uninformed, and it’s fine to be wrong. What’s not fine is to be confidently incorrect on a subject you know nothing about, get shown that you have no idea what you’re talking about, and then (the wrong part) instead of reflect on that and try to learn more so you can develop an informed opinion, just kneejerk pivot to whatever idea pops into your head next – just keep throwing spaghetti at the wall.

For you, that’s the quickest way to never learn anything, and for the people around you, it’s just polluting the discussion with uninformed, unsubstantiated noise.

I’m not making a claim about her motives in that comment. I’m saying that this commenter is just making shit up that sounds true to them, evidenced by the comment about an alleged contentious vote in a solid Republican state in an election she’s not even participating in. Anything they’re saying is paper-thin, and anything true they say is only true accidentally.

Edit: You removed a substantial portion of your comment speculating on Lummis’ motives, and so I was under the impression while writing this that you meant “I don’t think you’re right [about her motives]”.
