The only reason I keep Facebook is for unhinged stuff like this
Wait. Can someone explain to me what just happened? I just googled those two meds and both are anti-parasites… What is happening here? Why are that expensive and why did they took them??
He is a parasite, obviously.
As in all the other living being on this planet, stupidity in human being should also/usually be fatal and not coddled with ambulances and health care.
Yeah this is a waste of healthcare services for sure.
You know they voted in a way that made that ride expensive and will just go ahead and vote to make it even worse
They could be trying to get rid of worms or some other parasites, since that’s the only prescribed use of ivermectin and mebendezol in humans. But it’s given in careful doses, not DIY from a bottle from a “wellness company”. So who knows what they’re trying to do.
Find somebody who looks at you the way conservatives look at ivermectin.
So my dog when I’m making steak for dinner.
More like a rampantly-inbred bag of oops at the dog park when another furry fuckup is shitting out something delectable.
Two questions.
One, What the fuck kind of furry conventions are you attending?
And two, how can I join?
“only objective understanding”
Too late. Should have started with that, dumbass.
Exactly this! They started from some emotional/political/vibes-based treatment that didn’t work because obviously, then suddenly they want to be all facts-driven when they could face some criticism for gumming up our healthcare system with their nonsense.
So close to a Darwin Award.
It’s irritating that ivermectin now carries the stink of weird alternative medicine people. Its really helpful for treating rosacea (for which it is approved by the fda as a topical prescription drug, under the name soolantra)
Like its a perfectly useful antiparasitic and antiinflammatory, but now it will always just be “that weird horse dewormer that dumbfucks take”
Just about everything has been turned into a political issue in the last decade. Medicine (not Healthcare… modern medicines/drugs themselves), beer brands, avocados on toast, beef, eggs, children’s films/books (that’s not new, I guess, just hitting new levels recently), gas stoves, holidays, black pilots, etc.
Yeah those things all just mysteriously “became” political.
We’ll never be able to truly know who made “black pilots” political 🙄
I’m convinced that conservatives wake up in the morning and just choose something to be mad at. Green MnM losing her high heels, gas stoves, Starbucks, avocado toast, etc.
It’s not that far from the truth, it’s just the thing they pick is what they saw on Fox News that morning.
Hey man even you have to admit the green M&M was way more sexy in heels.
Please don’t have wet dreams about a chocolate candy, green colored or otherwise.
This is my friend’s very most favorite internet article
https://www.phillymag.com/news/2018/08/11/mayonnaise-industry-millennials/
It is about how millennials are ungrateful, unpatriotic mayonnaise haters. It does not appear to a joke article. It fills her with so much joy lol.
I’ll join your friend. This is allso my favorite article now.
Lmao i really loved this part
They’re also shunning their parents’ preferred restaurants — Applebee’s, Ruby Tuesday, TGI Fridays — to seek out more authentic fare. Old-school eateries, in turn, are diversifying in their search for new customers. Just this year, Red Lobster rolled out a waffles-and-lobster option, and Red Robin launched a vegan burger. You don’t put mayo on a vegan burger.
Other favorites are
I’m not part of the elderly mayo masses; I’m turkey and Swiss on ciabatta with tzatziki, chipotle spread and a little basil pesto. That’s who I am, dammit. My sandwich, my self.
This is bullshit. This attitude comes to you from young people who willingly slurp down eight kazillion kinds of yogurt, not to mention raw fish and pork belly and, yo, detergent pods, so don’t talk to me about mayonnaise.
I thought young people today were supposed to be all about inclusion — about kindness and compassion and making other people feel welcome. So how about you include a little mayo in your picnic fare?
Just because something is old and white doesn’t mean it’s obsolete. Look at Shakespeare. Look at me.
Holy shit 🤣
My son Jake, who’s 25, eats mayo. He’s a practical young man who works in computers and adores macaroni salad. He’s a good son. I also have a daughter. She was a women’s and gender studies major in college. Naturally, she loathes mayonnaise.
I think the tragedy is the mom not realizing that the mayo on the shelves today is for the most part only a distant relative of the “oil and egg yolk emulsion” she used to eat as a child.
That is, Millennials are justly rejecting a 100% chemical mix supposed to taste like a natural food, but whose ingredient list looks like a who’s who of food processing science, while it makes her fondly remember something that spoiled quickly if not eaten after opening. You can’t blame the young’uns for not having your memories.

Hellman’s mayo does have a chemical preservative. “Natural flavors” is a bit suspect, too.
Veganaise is full of highly processed and vat-grown ingedients, just like “ben 'n jerry’s” has been trending.
Most restaurant stuff is full of compromises.
I think the 800 pound gorilla is cost vs quality, not nutrition. All those restaurants have shit quality, mcdonald’s-like production lines, and are a suck-ass eating experience.
kewpie japanese mayo
That is one of the absolute best parts lmao
That was hilarious.
Do other condiments have pale imitators like Miracle Whip and Just Mayo and Vegenaise? I don’t think so!
Author’s never stepped foot into an Asian grocery, and it shows.
That said, I feel reasonably certain it’s meant to be tongue in cheek humour.
Don’t say that, I don’t want it to be 😭
There are simply too many quotable lines in this article. Amazing
A movie called “The Mayo Conspiracy” won the Best Comedy Feature at the 2015 World’s Independent Film Festival.
Im going to have to watch this film however
It would hilarious, and sad, if it eventually becomes a controlled substance over abuse concerns.
God I fucking hope not lol. Its available over the counter at a lower percentage as a lice cream which is actually what I use since my insurance doesnt want to cover soolantra and its ridiculously expensive (like a tube of topical cream is more than $150 with goodRX)
I have no idea why the prescription is so expensive but its reputation for being unaffordable and hard to get insurance to pay for is pretty well known by people with rosacea. The lice cream from the Walmart store brand is like $25
Its really helpful for treating rosacea (for which it is approved by the fda as a topical prescription drug, under the name soolantra)
Interesting as fuck. Not something you’d expect as an outsider.
(Not the one who down voted you, I dunno why someone did that) what do you mean by as an outsider? Just that you don’t have rosacea? :)
I knew as I was writing it that the term was bad, but couldn’t think of a good one. I meant layman, or something equivalent just for the field of medical science instead of law :-)
There’s nothing wrong with using the term outsider in that context, I just wanted to check if I was understanding you correctly :)
Yeah ivermectins effect on rosacea is interesting. Its believed that in some cases rosacea may be aggravated or caused by an over abundance of demodex mites (microscopic skin mites that are on everyone’s skin), but the exact relationship isnt well understood. So the ivermectin is used for its antiparasitic effect, and also being a topical anti inflammatory is helpful since rosacea is an inflammatory skin condition
The weird part is that if I understand right in clinical trials another antiparasitic was just as effective at killing the demodex mites if not more, but wasnt effective at treating rosacea. Sulfur is also uses to treat rosacea for its similarly antiparasitic and mild antiinflammatory properties. Its really strange to me what sorts of treatments it has- like topical and oral antibiotics- you wouldn’t think that would treat it but thats several of the medications approved for treating rosacea
Rosacea is one of those weird conditions thats highly personal and we don’t fully understand what’s going on with it. It can also manifest with much more variety than people realize, including ocular rosacea, where instead of people getting flushing and redness like you expect (vascular rosacea), you get grittyness and irritation of the eyes. It also comes in phymatous rosacea which can be dysfiguring (which kinda terrifies me a little bit, I don’t want to dislike my face), and papular pustular rosacea which looks a little like acne with small red bumps.
Also weird is that the condition progresses and becomes more severe over time. So exposure to your triggers doesnt just mean that your skin doesnt look great for right now, it also means it will continues to get more sensitive and harder to calm down when flaring up
With the screw worm on its way back, we might need it pretty still.
Please no emotions, I don’t want to get my snowflake fee-fees hurt while suffering from the consequences of my moronic actions
Sir, you are not a horse
There is no face in the picture …
You know what they call alternative medicine that actually works? Medicine.
When the heart started failing dostors became a good choice lol
The problem is that’s not actually alternative medicine. It’s medicine, just misused.
The dose makes the poison. Medicine is about more than just what you’re consuming.
Ah :) Storm
Maybe let a doctor decide on what your body really needs, not the price of the bottle?
Ask your doctor if Zombocom is right for you!
You can be anything with Zombocom.
Welcome … to Zombocom. Welcome!
My voodoo doctor recommends it!
if your doc is VET, for a HORSE, or cattle.
If your doctor recommends Ivermectin…ewe might be a sheep.
– Jeff Foxworthy
so he double dipped on antiparasitics, mebedezol is the other one.
Oh, what do they know anyway?
The doctor is a reptiloid, it knows everything, but it wonct talk with a straw man, only with a sovereign homesteader
Taking the appropriate dose of ivermectin for your body weight should be fine, it’s effective at getting rid of parasites. And doctors really aren’t the thing for that, unlike vets they’re not really checking if you have parasites since most people don’t.
You can get tested for parasites wtf
No one does is the point, because it’s typically not needed.
So if your worried about parasites, get tested, don’t just randomly poison yourself. Even here in vietnam they don’t randomly injest poison because of a suspicion.
There is currently a parasite all over the US causing explosive diarrhea.
Sorry to break it to you, but we gutted the shit that protects us from shit like this. So get used to it.
Why do you know whether or not doctors check for parasites? Are you a medical professional or otherwise associated with the profession?
I’ve had plenty of physicals, and a fecal sample was never part of them.
In developed nations, testing for worms isn’t needed unless the symptoms point towards worms.
It’s kinda like how they don’t check you for polio or the bubonic plague as part of a regular visit either.
So you’re a lay person with no expertise or insight into the signs they look for to determine if checking for parasites are necessary?
I’ve had a bunch of physicals too and I don’t think that qualifies me, in any way, to comment on medical standard practices.
The way I gasped when I read the word ivermectin.
Horrific, anyone have a good explanation for what I went through?
Well, it wasn’t a high quality educational system, that’s for sure.
🤣🤣🤣
I think what this guy needs is more ivermectin.
It’s got what horses crave
Water? The stuff in the trough?!
Its got eletro-gallops.
or moo-cow.
Probably just forgot about the bleach injection first…
and injection of hydroxyquinilone.
Not to mention colloidal silver.
And a nomination for the annual Herman Cain award.
Flipflops with jeans is all you need to know.
It’s really not. I wear flipflops with jeans with some frequency but still manage to believe in real medicine, and especially don’t believe that pairing two antiparasitics (one not approved for human use) is a cure-all or even a vaguely rational treatment for anything other than being riddled with parasites.
Why not wear shorts if it’s so hot? Glad you’re sane otherwise ;-)
Btw, I’m only joking about all this. I went to college when that look first took off. I’ll never do it, but that’s just me.
Flops are just comfortable, it doesn’t necessarily need to be that hot out, so long as it isn’t actively cold or wet.
